When dad in my childhood talked about his visit to the golden temple and showed the photograph I was so thrilled to imagine the beautiful temple. During the prime ministership of Indira Gandhi, when there occured military intervention inside the temple to capture arms and munitions along with Bhindranwala, I was so shocked. I never thought it would be a possibility to visit the temple at Amritsar in Punjab. Thanks to my Jammu daughters Sarita and Rina sood. We stayed at the temple, ate from the community kitchen, slept there, and went inside gurudwara to get blessing from the guru. It was such a good experience. The beauty of the Golden temple is beyond description. I enjoyed every bit of the visit.

JOURNEY to the GOLDEN TEMPLE
